As a Learning Experience Design Consultant, I wear many hats - part architect, part storyteller, and all-around enthusiast for crafting engaging learning experiences. My mission? To transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, turn complex concepts into captivating narratives, and ignite the curiosity in every learner.

I want to preface this by stating that the content of this blog reflects solely my work and opinions. It does not reflect the official stance of my current or previous employers, my clients, or other organizations.

My Story

Training

Picture this: it's 2011, and I find myself to start an adventurous journey, ready to facilitate my very first training program. Little did I know, it was the beginning of an incredible journey spanning a decade of growth and learning.

Over the past 10 years, I've had the privilege of orchestrating over 500 thousand hours of learning experiences for clients around the globe, with the unwavering support of amazing teams by my side. From the inception of ideas to the execution and assessment phases, I've been the driving force behind countless Learning and Development initiatives.

But it wasn't just about ticking off tasks on a to-do list. My role involved coordinating the entire process – from brainstorming sessions with internal stakeholders to liaising with subject matter experts and trainers, ensuring every project was a success story.

Imagine me managing project plans, schedules, and budgets like a pro, all while keeping a smile on my face. And let's not forget the thrill of overseeing projects that spanned continents, from the busy cities of APAC to the delightful corners of Europe.

But perhaps the most rewarding part of it all? Connecting with clients on a personal level, understanding their unique training needs, building an awesome team of learning & and development professionals and crafting tailor-made solutions that not only met but exceeded their expectations.

So, as I reflect on the past decade, It's crazy when I think about the adventures, challenges, and numerous moments of growth. Those moments spent collaborating with my teams, meeting tight deadlines, fostering wonderful relationships with trainers and subject matter experts—all of them contributed to the incredible knowledge I've gained along the way.. And I'm excited to see where the next chapter of this journey takes me.

Instructional Design

Fortunately, a few years down the road, I got an opportunity to jump into e-learning. Imagine me, excitedly exploring online learning and trying out different ways to teach with technology. It felt like I had found a treasure chest of new ideas!

I found myself knee-deep in instructional design, crafting online e-learning courses for a variety of clients. Every project was a chance to learn and grow, honing my skills in designing for the online environment. It was tough sometimes, but it was always worth it!

But it wasn't just about creating courses. I had the chance to develop entire curriculums and lead development projects from start to finish. Talk about wearing multiple hats!

Then, the best part happened: setting up an E-Learning Design and Development Division. It was like building a ship from scratch and watching it set sail into uncharted waters. Integrating an LMS and an Online Assessment Engine was the cherry on top, turning our offerings into a holistic business package.

But perhaps the most fulfilling part of it all? Building strong connections with clients that lasted long after the projects were completed. Making friends with the people we worked with.

Countless lessons learned, and I'm excited to see what other adventures await in the chapters to come!"

Consulting

With all that experience, I feel that I am ready to take the next step. That's when I launched my YouTube channel, "E-Learning Experiments." On this platform, I am looking to offer learning experience design advice across various industries, with a focus on improving training and development initiatives related to designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating learning experiences (bite-size learning snippets and scenario-based learning) in various settings.
